I am here for business, so I had te get up early and have breakfast there, since the hotel I stay at doesnt have breakfast. They opened right on time, at 0700, so we still had time to eat. I am really fond of this place! Such good coffee!
Update: This is my favorite place in whole Ferrara by far. She even remembered my order, so sweet!!!
I arrived hot and tired and sat at the window counter. Only later did I realise that there is an upstairs too. The menu includes tapas, seafood, pasta, and steak dishes. I had well cooked tempura vegetables, pasta, and a couple of glasses of wine. With cover and water my bill came to 35 euros. There is a good selection of wines and my glasses cost 6 euros each which brought the total to a little more than I expected.
Originally we were going to leave the restaurant after they had us sit in a room without any air conditioning but then they let us sit in a room with air conditioning and we enjoyed it. The service was good and the food was very good too. Can recommend this restaurant when in Ferrara.
Lovely place with a spectacular view on the castle. Mouthwatering brioches and great coffee, not sure where they source the milk ,but the taste is definitely to commend on.Totally recommend it!
Super nice view, right in front of the castle of Ferrara. I give it 5 stars, it is on the pricey side, but for a good reason. Superb selection of wine, not many but top and carefully picked. The food is tapas-type, including some revisited Italian dishes. I had the "bigoli" (hand made pasta) with boar gravy, pecorino cheese and fava bean (and thyme). It was truly delicious, it melted in my mouth. The tapas I had were acciughe (anchovies) del cantabrico and crostini (mixed flavours). Everything was well prepared, well presented in a nice atmosphere. I recommend this place.
I stopped for a quick coffee. I have been before and found that the service is always friendly and hospitable. The view is amazing overlooking the castle and the city. This is a great stop in Ferrara.
Great place, great service. The portions of food were so little tho. Internet is not provided (which is good so people can communicate).
Not miss 1st floor - with THE view and privacy, without illegal sellers (which are stalkering outdoor terraces of city cafes across Europe nowadays :(
